About Our Organization
The Chippewa Theater Guild began as the Sault Community
Theater (SCT) in 1979. The founders of the group recognized the
need for the theatrical arts in our area and thus began the Sault
Community Theater. With drive and determination and many self
sacrificed hours they achieved the nonprofit status. The SCT
became an official non-profit organization.
The Chippewa Theater Guild is a registered Michigan Corporation
and has status as a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3)
of the United States Code. Thank you to all who worked so hard for
this achievement.
Mission Statement
The Chippewa Theater Guild's mission is to create and deliver
quality theater in an intimate setting.
Vision Statement
The vision of the Chippewa Theater Guild is to reach out to the
surrounding communities and across the border with our
performing arts. Also, to have educational opportunities for
individuals interested in increasing their knowledge of the many
aspects of a community theater organization.
